Hey guys,

Currently debating what mechanical means in todays gaming standards with a family member, And I just want some of you guys to give me what you think it means?

Thanks a lot guys

The only time "mechanical" is used is in relation to keyboards. It has nothing to do with gaming standards, it's just a method of keyboard construction. Gamers have flocked to it because they find the tactile feedback appealing. Mechanical keyboards generally have raised keys that are spaced apart, provide a distinctive "clicking" sensation when pressed, and are considered less stressful on your wrist/fingers over prolonged periods of use.

Ah, That's good, we sort of see eye to eye on this and its meaning, That debate with my family member has already passed but it's always great confirming it, My family member seems to assume that the word mechanical is in relation to Extra programmable keys on mouse and keyboards and isn't anything to do with the construction and key type of things.
But Thank you anyway
:)
