What does OC (overclocking) mode mean on GPU?

Hey, I am going to buy this GPU: https://www.photopoint.ee/komponendid/780615-gigabyte-geforce-gtx-1050-ti-d5-4g-4gb-hdmi-dp-dvi. It says it is in OC mode. Does it mean it has to be overclocked before using(gaming).

It has automatic overclock mode. That's some OC they determined as safe.
