What does the 'D' stand for?

I want to get the DS3 rev 3.3 but can only get DS3 rev 1.0 or S3 rev 3.3
Anybody knows what is the difference?

It is BIOS/Chipset limitations or extensions for each mother board. Example rev 1 might have slower RAM support speed while Rev 3 will have a higher RAM speed.

The "D" stands for "durable" because it uses all solid capacitors and should last longer, thats the only difference.

I read somewhere the S3 will last for 3 years while the DS3 will last 5-7 years, but I could be wrong.

If you have to choose, go with the newer revision S3
