Can someone show an example of an optimized curve? My default curve is way too loud for my liking. GPU never goes above 74C even at max load but it's so loud.
These are the stock settings.

InnoChill 3D OC RTX 4090

Every fan curve will be different, its basically what you want as max temps vs the noise level you want.

For me its 0% fan speed at 30*c with a ramp up to 50% at 60*c and then 100% anything above 60*c as i dont care about sound.

What's the max safe temp for RTX 4090?

Also, if I do mess up the fan curve, how can I reset it if I changed it via MSI Afterburner in the first place?

Just going off the internet the default max temp is 83-85*c and the card will start to throttle itself.

The RTX line is the first set of cards from Nvidia that will actively overclock itself. As long as temp, voltage, and power limit are within specs it will keep boosting its speed. As soon as one of those is not meet it will start to throttle.
