Image above. Does anyone know what this is and how to turn it off? I'm talking about the icon on the left, what's hovering over my mail icon. It also happens with Chrome sometimes.

Do you have another PC with the app open? Looks like the handoff thing I get if I have a compatable app open on my phone near my MacBook.

yeah that looks like a handoff icon, when you hover over that dock icon, does it give a message as in this picture?
