what is this and why does my computer keep crashing?

It means there there is an issue with your computer that needs to be resolved. The .DMP file is the dump of your system; basically, everything that was happening when the error occurred. You could probably send that file to someone and they'd be able to read through it and tell you what is causing the crashes.

Unfortunately, I'm not that someone.
