What does this mean?

In the notes section, it says the motherboard may need a BIOS update before it can use the CPU. Being a noob on my first build i would like to know if it is a problem.

The software that the motherboard originally has does not support that CPU. You will have to update the software on the motherboard. Moreover once you update it to the most current BIOS it will be compatible with that CPU.

But if the BIOS on the mobo doesnt have the right BIOS on it when you get it. You cant flash the BIOS. Because it wont turn on

You have to use a supported CPU to flash the bios to add support for the new CPU.

It would be easier to buy an already compatible CPU + motherboard.

That maybe OK because the BIOS it needs is from 2012. So. it MAY work
