What does this mean?

my case makes the gpu be in the mobo upright instead of upside down because of previous use was custom watercooling, what does this mean? will the heat go onto my cpu?
the gpu im putting in this rig is a zotac 970 amp! extreme https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/zotac-video-card-zt9010310p

It shouldn't do as the CPU cooler fins will just radiate the heat outside of it and most of the heat given off by the GPU will be sucked up by a fan or the hot air will cool by the time it goes near the CPU.
