I recently got the Asus vg248qe gaming monitor for my xbox one... I know what you're thinking "Why would you get a 144hz monitor for console gaming that's so stupid!!!!" Don't worry I plan to get a gaming PC and I'll use it for console gaming right now.

My question is "How can I reduce the motion blur for the console and what trace free setting should I be on? I've heard that 0 is best, 60, 40, and 100 but i want some closure for which is best on console gaming.

Additionally i've heard of the program called LightBoost for my monitor but I don't have a PC to install that program. Does it work for console?

Thx

Its used to help reduce ghosting and corona artifact like black near objects. At 0 you tend to see more ghosting and at 100 more corona artifacts. While each game is different you have to work it until it looks right. Generally is 40 or 60 but it does vary. Here is more info on the subject.
