What DPI is good for 1080p?

I'm wondering what DPI is good for 1080p screens, because i don't want to spend much money because im buying a Razer mouse and high DPI mouses are much more expensive than normal DPI mouses. I want it accurate especially on games like BF3, BO2 zombies, BL2, Far cry 3. Its either the 3500 DPI DeathAdder or 6400 DPI DeathAdder

I would go ahead and get the nicer one. I know its not what you want to hear but its worth it for the precision. I have however seen people do fine not great with regular nongaming mice so whats that?

For At 1680 by 1050 I use my 6500 DPI mouse at......500 DPI! DPI is largely a gimmick used to sell more mice. For FPS at 1080 you will need more than 500, but I doubt you will need more then 3000, i mean, 6000 DPI is REALLY sensitive, so much so I cant even use the mouse.

6000DPI would be good on displays around the 2560x1440 or 2560x1600 mark. At 1920x1080 you'll be going for a headshot and keep shooting the clouds instead.
