What exactly happens/changes

When you select a country/region that is not your real or at least current one, when first setting up Windows (10 or 11)?

Does only Microsfot, and more specifically Bing-related stuff, like ads or weather, or time change? Or do many more things do?

One thing may be that the system then obtains its time and date for that country/region and not where you really are.

As a result, if there are mismatches between system time and date then some websites or other features/apps may not work properly.
