What failed? PC Turns on for 1 sec.

Few days ago i tried to turn on my pc and it only turned on for one sec all fans spin for a sec and shutdown, it didint even get to post, i had no time to figure out the issue but every day at the end of the day i tried to turn it on with no success, however right now(3 days after) i just turned it on... any ideas what could the issue be? TBH im afraid if i turn it off it wont turn on again... btw when i had the issue there was no beeps so that made me think its psu or motherboard failure...

PS. i need to replace something quickly before this happens again.

Well if it's functioning now it's kinda hard to say. It might be fine. But if you can remember, was there any beeps, debug led's, or debug codes on the motherboard?
