I need to find a serial number or some sort of name for the fan in the picture below. Do you have any ideea what fan is it?

Where did it come from?

Is there not a model on the sticker on back? Did somebody paint that and they painted over the sticker with the model and specs on it?

What did it come off of or out of?

What is the intended use for this?

Looks like an ASUS chipset fan.

A friend of mine got it from a teacher from a laboratory. He just found it there, in the lab.
From what I see, on the back it seems that it has some thermal paste. It might have been used to cool a CPU. You can see it in the image below:
