Question What female to male connector and why?

So I recently finished my build, and fell short on my budget when it comes to buying a monitor...I currently have a VGA supported Monitor, vga only no other stuff, and I have an rx 570, as you can see, rx 570 does not support vga... so Im planning on buying a female to male connector for the time being...But what should I buy? a Female Hdmi to male vga? or a female vga to male hdmi? I appreciate your help and replies,thanks!

This cable will work https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07B636R1...&pd_rd_r=44ee8031-6db5-11e9-9381-ffdfe42e5ee6 if you don't want to do an adapter for the existing cable. The card you have should have a display port connection. If not a full one then a mini.
