What files should i delete on WIndows 10?

If it is a new PC, I think it would be safe to delete the "OEM" folder, but back it up in case there are driver installation files which you may want to use later on.

If you upgraded, I think there is "Windows.old" folder. Delete that. It may not let you, so just "Take ownership" of the folder

Also $Windows~WS$ and $Windows~BS$ should be safe to delete.

Otherwise, delete all the files in:

C:\Windows\Temp

and

C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Temp

Windows 10 does a spectacular job of doing it's own house cleaning, unlike 7. We recommend to not delete anything except... On all three of the W10 machines here we did delete the .old folder through disc cleanup. All those ole 3rd party cleaning tools are obsolete for W10. Some security programs like Malwarebytes and Superantispyware are good. Defender is built in to 10. So much for third party antivirus programs. Notice the C drive volume doesn't keep getting larger all the time like in 7 . Great house cleaning work with 10.
Sincerely,
Walt Prill:).
