What Folder Holds Active Drivers?

I am tracking down older driver that was installed by windows 7.

I need to know which folder holds the active drivers in win 7...

Is it /system32/drivers, or one of the other "driver store" or "repository" folders?

Thanks - gotta chase a crashed folder because updated drivers are not working.

Most are stored in windows\system32\ folder

Thanks but system crashed and had to be re-installed--I think all the system restore points are lost.

I do have some old data saved in one folder but I haven't figured out to research system restore files yet.

Thanks much for the assistance - found the old driver that was used in system32\driverstore\repository...

Reinstalled it and life is good again.

I had to do it this way cuz my hardware is so old and does not play well with belkins 64 bit drivers
