What format are xbox 360 games in

Hello,im wondering if its worth buying a passport harddrive so i can play movies on my 360 what i downloaded if its not going to work

Sure. Xbox360 plays a good deal of formats and a passport drive wouldn't be a bad choice.

Make sure they are in: AVI, WMV, MPEG-4 Part 2, H.264 and QuickTime movie formats
