What fps can i expect from an R9 270?

I'm just going to buy an R9 270, but am wondering what fps i can expect from next-gen games like FC4, Alien Isolation, etc. The 270 will be running alongside an fx-6300 CPU and 12 gigs of DDR3 ram at a resolution of 1980x1080. Also is it worth upgrading my CPU? I AM on a bit of a budget though.

You will probably have to tweak the settings a bit.
If you can afford buying an i5 + mobo, yes the upgrade would be worth it.
Actually you can upgrade to a 8320. Would be a nice upgrade.

I have the r9 270 with an amd phenom II x4 3.2 quad core. I get decent fps on certain games. Older, cpu heavy games aren't as great but I can play the new call of duty on good settings without much lag or fps drop.
