I am going to upgrade to an i7 3770 and I was wondering what kinds of fps would I be getting on these games?

Red Orchestra 2
Rising storm 2 Vietnam
Post Scriptum
GTA V Online
The Forest
Battlefield 4
Darkest Hour 44-45
Day of Infamy

Rest of my specs
RX 580 4gb
Gigabyte GA-H61M-S1
8gb 1333 mhz 2x4
550w Cooler master psu
240gb Kingston ssd
1tb WD hdd

I was using an i7 4770 at one stage and I was able to get 60 fps+ on all of these games, My native resolution is 900p and I don't really care what graphics settings I am on so long as I can get 60 fps, will that be achievable with this CPU? I am using an i5 2400 rn and I struggle to get 30. I am also planing on getting 16gb ram at some stage as well. I would also like to be able to record a little bit as well, I would be happy with 30 fps for that.

Its not going to be a massive jump if that's what your expecting. You can probably realistically expect a 5-10% jump in frame-rate.

I hope you are getting a good deal on the 3770 since with the release of the Ryzen 3300X along with the countless used 1st and 2nd gen Ryzen CPUS (and B350/B450 Mobos) and DDR4 RAM you need to be careful how much you are spending on a CPU that came out 7 years ago.

I have 3770k@4.4GHz with 16gigs and a rx580. You should get 60fps at 1080p no problem for MOST games. Some games like red dead 2 will bring any system to their knees. But your CPU will be yhe bottle neck. i wouldnt spend more than $100 on it on the used market.

3600 is about $150
16 gigs is $100
Motherboard is $80

That will get you a significant speed boost.

So if I get the 3770 I am only going to be getting 3 more fps in games? how is there no jump between a i5 2400 and i7 3770 but between an i7 3770 and an i7 4770 there is a jump of like 50 fps!?!?!

with the i7 4770 on those games I was getting

Red Orchestra 2-70 fps
Rising storm 2 Vietnam-80fps
Post Scriptum-60fps
GTA V Online-70fps
The Forest-80fps
Battlefield 4-70fps
Darkest Hour 44-45-80fps
Day of Infamy-90fps

and with my i5 I am getting

Red Orchestra 2-20fps
Rising storm 2 Vietnam-30fps
Post Scriptum-20fps
GTA V Online-20fps
The Forest-40fps
Battlefield 4-30fps
Darkest Hour 44-45-10fps
Day of Infamy-20fps

It confuses me how a 2 gen i5 is the same as a 3rd gen i7 and a 4th gen i7 is so much better than the 3rd gen i7!

The problem is I live in nz and prices here are insane, for the Ryzen 3 2200g system that I was building was costing me $150 for the cheepest mbo, $180 for the 2200g, $160 for the ram, thats $490 for a 2200g system with out shipping! I don't really play many other games than the games I mentioned, I have been playing them for the past 5 years and haven't really ever wanted to play anything else, I am not a fan of most of the new games anyways.

So you reckon that I should be able to get 60 fps 900p medium on most of the games I mentioned?
