I also have the Corsair MM300 Mouse Mat.
In terms of speakers I have the Edifier R1280DB
I also have the Nitro Concepts E200 Chair

I use this as my main system for gaming, light productivity, some scientific programs, multimedia, bulk storage.

I mention that the CPU is stably OCed to 4.6Ghz.
My "future" dilema is what to upgrade next. The most logical choice would be the gpu although I am still happy with the performance (maybe when I see new GPU's in 2019?!). Also, if I upgrade the GPU I would probably want a monitor upgrade next as a 1080p 75Hz TN panel would not be enough to show the supposed increased graphical power. But my 6700K would be enough for such an upgrade?
In terms of monitor I will perhaps be interested in a good quality 4K monitor (preferably above 60Hz- maybe 75Hz if there were any at that time) with Freesync or a 1440p 144Hz one. I imagine the gaming experience would be better on the 1440p but I would also like to use the real estate and multimedia experience of a 2160p one. The reasons I would consider the 4K monitor more is that is the future standard and would not be a wise choice to invest in a stop-gap resolution monitor like 1440p.
1. So what are your opinions regarding what should I upgrade next (from my entire setup)?
P.S. I know an answer is not dire right now, but I am looking for extra opinions.
Optional:
2. What speaker system would you consider for a 105cm HDTV for a living room? I was thinking about the Edifier 2.0 R1850DB. I am not looking for a high end system, just something to improve the TV audio experience. P.S. A soundbar is not really suitable for the placement of the TV. P.S. I live in Europe, not the USA.

Thank you for any responses.

Solution
Only upgrade for your high-end gaming rig would be, as you said, GPU. And since you're looking towards 4K, GTX 1080 Ti is GPU to go for,

Or you can go with RTX 2080 as well. It has same price and performance as GTX 1080 Ti but it has newer tech in it (real time ray tracing in games).

For 4K gaming monitors with G-Sync, you can look towards Acer X27,

Of course...

Of course, being the best there is and 1st in the world that can do 144 Hz at 4K, X27 also costs a fortune.

And as far as your sound setup with your TV goes, i have 0 idea what to suggest. That's out of my ballpark.

Solution

Great suggestions, but I think it's wise to wait and see what AMD brings to the table. As of now, only an RTX 2080 ti is capable of 4K 60 fps gaming. And I don't intend paying that much for a GPU never mind a 144 Hz 4K monitor. I also have experienced gaming on a ASUS ROG Swift PG348Q before and very much enjoyed the experience, but considering multimedia use, I think a 4K display is more futureproof given the standard resolution. Thank you very much for your suggestions.
