What Games are BETTER than AoK ???

My subjects are morons. They do not follow my instructions. They need
too much babysitting while my opponent, the computer, has no such
trouble. The empire controlled by the computer operates flawlessly
while my own subjects can't even follow a straight line from point A
to point B when I instruct them to do so.
My knights are so stupid they will hack on huts and old women while
being gored by powerful opponents.

I am sick of this.

What similar games offer SMARTER subjects?

Age of Empires is a small step in the right direction, but Warcraft III and subsequent attachments are the best choice...

You can command your subjects to guard/attack/defend/or
attack the nearest thing in site. If you set your army to
behave as you wished then you might be satisfied. AOK is
much better than AOE and much more advanced than Starcraft
or warcraft. Your problem is that you don't know all the
options. You can use all of these to your advantage and
make your army smarter.
