The i3 3210 will do fine on modern games.
The problem lies on the GPU and RAM.
The RAM may bottleneck games, especially when multitasking.

GPU is not qualified to play modern games. Will run older games fine on lower settings but don't expect to get a good experience on modern games even on lower settings.

If you are on a 1080P system a GTX 950 would be a solid option for medium settings.

An R9 380 or R9 380X would be better options if your PSU can support.

Upgrade the RAM to a 4x2GB kit. It's cheap.

The 760 of course and yeah it will give more performance. You'll have some bottlenecks in games that require quad core processors so dont dial it all the way up in those games.

It will in games that use more than 2 cores extensively. But it is mitigated somewhat by the i3s hyperthreading. In most games, an equivalent i5 will give an avg of 6-7 fps more.

Thats not a bottleneck, it's an i3 so it will perform worse than an i5.
