I will be buying a very cheap cpu because it's what I can only afford. So question is, what games can I play on this one? :)
Intel core 2 quad q6600 2.4ghz
g31 motherboard 775 socket
2 gig ddr2 ram - will be upgrading to 4gb
7300gs 256mb 64bit video card
500watts PSU

I really wanted to play assassin's creed black flag but I don't know if I can run it on this one.

Chances are you'll have great difficulty running any non-indie game made in the last 5 years. Most old games (pre-2010 or 2011) should run alright, and many indie and low budget steam games should also run alright.

Your GPU is probably more of a limiting factor than your CPU, but that CPU was released in 2007 and doesn't meet the minimum requirements for most new high-budget titles.

Um, you can't play much. I don't know what games uses less than half a gigabyte of VRAM. As far as Black Flag, that is a no go. Also, you are running DDR2. Being that the holidays are here, I would save up, and just build a $400-500 PC, so you can at least run some modern games.

I'm from Philippines so those dollars are like too much if you're gonna convert it into our currency here.
How about this one?
Core 2 duo E8400 3.0GHZ
2gb ddr3

Okay so I'm just new to these things and will save up money to upgrade that since I'll be going to college next

year. Just to clear things out I'm quite fine with these "low-end" stuff since I'm just starting out.

My question now is, Will those specs be enough to beat this old laptop which is pentium r dual core 2ghz 2gb

ram with GMA 4500MHD?

Also, will I be able to play AC Brotherhood on the first one? or is it really bad

Sorry, I'm just new to these things.

your cpu is actually pretty powerfull i have the same one in my kids pc and with the right gpu it can run the likes of witcher 3 fallout 4 etc etc very good cpu however your main problem is your graphics card i highly doubt that card will run the aforementioned games at any level of detail .im not trying to be nasty just being realistic i could possibly send you 2 gigs of ddr2 if it helps but have a good look around it should not be hard to find an upgrade for that gpu i paid maybe 5 pounds for an old passively cooled hd 6670 which is still not great but a big improvement over that card

im in the uk by the way and have built pcs from parts found in skips so dont be afraid to be very honest about your budget
