My experience if it helps (1080p, max settings, smaa,10% overclock on gpu):

Cod blops 3 - 80fps average 70min
Cod aw - 90fps average 85min
Just cause 3 - 55fps Av (horrendous game to get working right but your cpu will do better than mine)

Far cry 3 - 65fps
Fallout 4 - 60fps with some lows at 40 (tweaking needed)

Dirt (new one) - 80fps at 1440p

Edit - even with your system, some.of these games jusr arenr well optimised and you may see cpu/gpu not being fully used during fps drops.
Many new games will be able to run at high settings, but it also depends on what monitor you are running. Are you running 1080P 1440P or 4K? The 390 should be able to handle most games at 1080p on higher settings.

Well if you max the advanced graphics settings on GTA 5 as well as all the other/normal settings, you may not get 60fps as the advanced graphics settings just cut into fps so much. That being said not many people actually use the advanced settings as there is only like 3-4 settings in there.

The only real struggle you should run into is if you turn on SSAA. You should be able to play anything 60fps + at 1080p with no AA. At 1440p you'll still be playing most games comfortably, and have less of a reason to use AA. Super sampling anti aliasing kills GPUs so if you don't notice a difference I wouldn't bother using it. You should be fine with FXAA or MSAA anyways.
