What Games should I buy?

Okay so I'm looking for some new games to buy for my new PC and I was just wondering what games I should get, and if anyone has any recommendations I don't mind what type of games they are as long as it isn't the SIMS or any Tower Defense games.

What kind of games do you like. I play Skyrim, Borderlands 2, the Bioshock games. My son likes BF4 and his favorite right now is Titanfall.

Borderlands 2 (1st is good, dont need to play to understand story of 2)
The Witcher 2 (Witcher 1 is good but the combat is... different, some ppl like it some hate it)
Deus Ex Human Revolution
Fallout 3/Fallout New Vegas
TES Skyrim
Civilization 5 (turn based strategy/civilization building)
XCOM Enemy Unknown (Turn based strategy w/ guns)
Bioshock 1-3
Diablo 3

I like Mirrors edge and I'm waiting for mirrors edge 2 the only other Game I have is Skyrim and the half life series.

You should get Borderlands 2 and Titanfall if you like FPS's
You should get Dark Souls 1 to try the best RPG ever.
You should buy Starcraft 2 if you like RTS games.
Diablo 3 is good too, but it gets boring way too fast.

I would recommend World of Tanks. Is a free to play game (You can buy tanks or premium time) where you battle in teams using historic tanks. It has a good combination of action, with strategy, teamwork and planning.

Bioshock 1 and 2 have gripping story, and I just finished playing the Witcher 2, which was very good too, if you see there are some games that keep appearing in the answers we give you.

steam is having some pretty big discounts in games. got skyrim with all add-ons for 12 bucks.
