What gaming laptop should I buy (the 3 of my main options are listed below)

Well, first of all, I live in Canada but I would not like to spend a lot more than CAD$1500.
What would be better:
MSI GT70 2OC-008US
or
ASUS G75VX
or
ASUS G750JW

in terms of mobile gpu capability..

the gtx770m is the most powerful (msi) while the gtx670mx (g75) and gtx765m (g750) are similar in power.

in terms of cpu capability..

the i7-4770mq (msi and g750) is a newer version of the i7 processor. i7-3630qm (g75) is an older version. the new haswell chips are more optimized for mobile use so perform slightly better.

you need to think about what you plan on using the computer for and how justifiable it is to splurge for better hardware.

none of the laptops listed is going to run something like crysis 3 at absolute maximum settings. for that you would need a much larger budget. any of them that you listed will be able to play games on decent settings however.

i can personally say that the g75 (with the 670mx gpu) is a decent laptop. my brother has one and it works out great. decent battery life considering the hardware, excellent screen, decent build quality. i'm not a big fan of the keyboard, the integrated subwoofer or windows 8 preinstalled but it works. considering you can get the model on sale for $1000usd at times it was a steal. it works out great as a desktop replacement laptop. he plugs in speakers, a keyboard and a mouse and plays games and surfs the web while at home and then takes it with him (leaving the perepherals at home) when he is on the go and it works great for that. its not going to be as powerful as a desktop (laptops are always much inferior to same spec desktops) but its powerful enough for gaming or most other tasks.

as far as the g750... i think its a newer version. should be similar but i cant say for sure.

i cant say i know much about the msi. looks like decent specs but other than that i cannot say anything about build quality, how good the screen is, etc.
