Hello guys.
Going to purchase a monitor soon and would like to know which one I should go for:
1. Acer XG270HU: £370
*1440p @144hz
*IPS
*Freesync
*27 inch
2. Asus ROG SWIFT PG278Q: £500
*1440p @144hz
*TN
*Gsync
*27 inch
*better build quality/looks
I use a GTX 970, which I will buy a second (for SLi) when I get the monitor. Obviously the ROG Swift is the better option, but does the extra £130 (which is a lot for me) justify having Gsync and loosing the IPS panel. I currently have a non Gsync 144hz monitor and screen tearing doesn't bother me, so do I really need this feature?
