I am just curious what everyone uses for their gaming sessions. I have been on an endless quest for years trying to find the ones that suit me best. My quest has finally ended. If anyone is in the same situation, allow me to show you what I have.

Cyborg R.A.T. 7 Mouse $80 @ amazon
http://www.amazon.com/Mad-Catz-Cyborg-CCB437080002-04/dp/B003CP0BHM
- By FAR the most customizable/comfortable mouse available. Looks are deceiving. Comfort trumps all IMO.
- 5600 DPI
- 1000mhz polling rate
- 3 palm rests and 3 pinkie grips
- Custom Weight System – Like it light or heavy? Maybe you change the weight to suit your game?
- Precision Aim Mode – Hit your target the first time every time. Use the ST Programming Software to set your desired Precision Aim speed (mouse sensitivity).
- 5 Programmable Buttons
- 3 Cyborg Modes
- Powerful ST Programming Software
- Lightweight Metal Chassis - Strong yet nimble.
- Logitech G700 is a very close second, especially if you strictly play MMO's.

Cyborg G.L.I.D.E. 7 Gaming Surface $24 @ amazon
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004LY27PW
- No stupid plactic/metal scratching your mouse feet (Vespula...Ugh), really does glide! HUGE!
- XXL size to stop you dropping off the edge during intense gaming. It's bigger than a placemat!
- Low friction synthetic fabric for smooth and accurate movement
- Extra thick 6mm foam rubber backing for added comfort over long gaming sessions
- Optimised for laser and optical sensors
- XXL – 500mm x 400mm / 19.7” x 15.7”

Logitech Gaming Keyboard G510 $65 (50% off coupon) Logitech Direct
- Had the G110 for years and finally decided to go with the screen since there's adequate support now. The G19 is a waste though.
- GamePanel™ LCD - Nice to watch your core/GPU temps or Ventrilo and Battlefield stats.
- Custom color backlit keys - Match your theme
- Integrated USB audio - USB or 3.5mm jack
- 18 programmable G-keys- Awesome customization, but can be awkward.
- Game/desktop mode - No more pressing windows key!
- Instant media access. Love the volume roller!

Logitech G35 Surround Sound Headset $65 (50% off coupon) Logitech Direct
- 7.1 surround sound! You can hear EVERYTHING! 'Nuff said lol :D Sometimes I take them off to make sure my speakers aren't on, it's that clear!
- Dolby Headphone
- Three swappable headband pads=Max Comfort for you
- Three customizable G-keys= Push To Talk, Next, Pause etc.
- On-ear audio controls. Love the volume roller!
- Noise-canceling mic - Rotating mic boom with auto-mute
- Microphone mute light= Avoid "accidents"
- Ear cups completely cover your ear and are very comfy.

What does everyone else find that they have come to love and stopped looking for "that perfect peripheral"?

My set up is pretty simple, though it works great for me.

Cyborg R.A.T. 5
After trying both the 7 and the 5, I found the 5 gave me everything I needed and nothing I don't.

Razer Nostromo Gamepad.
Regular keyboards hurt my left hand during marathon gaming sessions, the nostromo is much more ergonomic, with some added features not found in keyboards under $100 like macros and programmable profiles. The Nostromo also proved useful in a few productivity apps, like 3D Studio Max, Blender, and AutoCAD.

My actual keyboard is nothing fancy, just an old Microsoft Media Pro keyboard that has managed to stand the test of time and survive all the abuse I've subjected it to. I likely won't replace it until it no longer works.

Logitech H330 USB Headphones
Again, nothing fancy. They work, are light on my head even after hours of gameplay, and the sound quality is pretty nice. And they're USB, so I can keep the sound output from my computer going to speakers for multiple configurations depending on if I'm playing single player or multiplayer. Singleplayer I usually have music playing over the speakers, and in multiplayer I'll put game sounds out through the speakers while I keep the headset for teamspeak.

RAZER RZ02-00211600-R3M1 Goliathus Extended Mouse Pad-Control. 920mm x 294mm.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826999089

RAZER Nostromo Black 16 fully programmable hyperesponse keys Normal Keys USB Wired Gaming Expert Gaming Keypad
This is a must have , everything is programable and you don't have to move your hand all over the keyboard.

RAZER Black 1 x Wheel USB Optical/Laser 6400 dpi Imperator 2012 Expert Ergonomic Gaming Mouse
Razer makes a great mouse.

Bose® Companion® 5 multimedia speaker system

Small foot print big sound.

The mouse pad is insane it goes end to end on my roll out shelf 36" x 12" and you never have to move the pad at all.

I tried the Logitech one, but I never got used to it, or didn't take the time perhaps, so I returned it. Is this "easier" to become accustomed to? I also have small hands.

can't go wrong with a razer deathadder, i have had one for almost a year, i love it, it is good to hold and all that jazz, i also have a razer arctosa, it is cheap and a good entry to using key macros, and the drivers work amazingly

Yeah i love the death adder, still have mine. I just can't let go of it. The only thing missing are some extra buttons.

I have the

- Logitech G500 mouse which is great. I really like it.

- Razer Goliathus extended control mousemat. Again, very happy with my purchase.

- Corsair HS1A. Most comfortable headset ever but needs tweaking before it sounds good. Also, the mic broke on mine within a day, thinking it's just bad luck though. Does seem like a good headset when it works.

- Logitech K200 with a broken foot which is being propped up by some foam lol. Yeah i'm going to get a better keyboard haha.

EDIT: Oh and Logitech Z-323, also thinking of getting some cool hi-fi speakers because my friend is selling some good ones pretty cheap. These Logitechs are awesome for the price though.
