What GPU brand is better for me?

Okay so what would be best for my needs? I'm going to be playing games at the max graphics with only 1 screen at 1920x1080 resolution, these games are going from the latest to the oldest, plus I'm probably gona fiddle round with sandboxes or skyrims console commands spawning 10,000 dragons. I love my Physics in games and I assume Nvidia cards are best for that... So which card would be better for my needs? Nvidia or AMD?

Price is not the issue here, these are the cards I will be getting depending on your suggestions.

AMD Radeon HD 7970 3GB 16X PCIe 3.0 Video Card
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 4GB 16X PCIe 3.0 Video Card


Plus which card there is actually better? I heard they were roughly similar anyway.

Remove that gtx 680 in that list replace it with gtx 670 as the performance difference between 670 and 680 is just 5% and a big $100 price gap.so it is between 670 and hd 7970.overall with latest drivers hd 7970 is faster than gtx 670.Mostly same performance in games.with gtx 670 you will get physicx and many features.in amd you will get eyeinfinity and supports multiple displays better than nvidia.hd 7970 is good at overclocking.if you overclock 7970 it beats gtx 680.so it's your choice which one to go with.both will handle games at max at 1080p

Does the GB part have nothing to do with the equation? XD Sorry I'm new to this. So on your personal preferance and reading what i wrote what would be your suggestion personally?

On an additional note by PhysX I mean I'm going to be spawning like 50,000 crates on skyrim and hope not to get lag :S

Not just skyrim this involved other games 😛 Such as the physx in borderlands 2 which makes my current 6870 lag like crazy and Mafia 2 physics

Gtx 670 4gb.it has features like physicx and adaptive vsync and also games support nvidia well.gtx 670 will satisfy your needs.
