What gpu can i run?

Hi guys I want to know what high gpu I can run (I want the r9 270x) here is my PSU and before saying buy any other so I can't so please don't ask me to do it, the psu type is Thermaltake smart series 530w 80 plus model sp-530p. if that's the PS you have, yes, it will run the card.

Intel core 2 quad q9550 2.83 GHz
4 GB ddr2 ram
1.5 tb hard disk green WD
5570 his radeon

i'll be honest with you. the biggest card i could run with my q9550 was a 6950. anything after that wasn't really advantageous and also have cpu limitations in areas. ( 1900 res. )

theoretically yes, but your running into a quality/limitations thing with this particular PS. what is the rest of your system?

Why there will be limitation? And what you mean with rest of my system? I guess my CPU is strong enough to power it up without bottlenecks

no, somewhere along the line you will experience cpu limitations...... if you haven't already and don't realize it.

i think the 270x would be more than enough with those......... i know LFD is a cpu intensive game. the gary's mod thing, if I remember right, is more towards gpu........... been a while since I did a lot of gaming.

L4d2 runs fine with my CPU but what do you mean by limitations? Slower than it should ?
