[SOLVED] What GPU can my CPU handle/my setup & recommendations!

So these are the specifications of my current PC:

AMD Ryzen 5 3400G 4-Core, 8-Thread @3.70GHz with Radeon RX Graphics Processor
AMD Radeon RX Vega 56 Graphics Card
OLOy DDR4 RAM - 16GB(2x8GB) - 3000MHz (When I enable XMP, I only get to 2667MHz, not 3000MHz as advertized...)
ASRock ATX Motherboard - B450 Pro4
SSD - Samsung 850 EVO M.2 - 250GB
HDD - Hitachi (HUS724020ALA640) 2TB Internal Hard Drive
PSU - ARESGAME 750W Power Supply Semi Modular 80+ Bronze
OS - Activated Windows 10 Pro
Fans - (x6) GIM KB-28 RGB Case Fans - 120mm
Case - Rosewill ATX Mid Tower Gaming PC Computer Case - Prism S - Tempered Glass + White Steel

I am looking to upgrade my GPU, while keeping everything the else pretty much the same, including my CPU(Ryzen 5 3400G).
So I am looking to get a good Nvidia RTX GPU that my CPU can handle and won't cause a severe bottleneck issue.
All of that while staying on 1920x1080p 'HP X24ih' 144hz 1ms response time - gaming monitor

What would be my best options within the range of $1,000.00 for the GPU?

Any help here with recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

At 1080p 144htz your 3400g will probably be the limiter anyway.

Unless you're having issues stick with the vega 56 you already have for the time being.

Its an awful time to upgrade when you already have a fairly powerful gpu.

I gotcha. I mean I was just trying to upgrade because I barely even hit 100FPS in Warzone and I get up to 130ish FPS in COD Cold War which is what I play competitively. It would just be nice to get the steady 144 but i hear what you're saying for sure

Drop to 720p and see what happens.

I'm fairly certain your cpu is limiting fps not your GPU though.

I just tested playing in 720p and there is some extra fps, but not much much honestly.
I get an average of 65-90fps on 1080p, which is pretty bad for what some people are telling me - that I'm supposed to be getting way more fps from a 8GB Vega 56.
If it is my CPU limiting my performance, then what would you recommend me to go out and purchase?

get a extra SSD and put warzone on that
