What GPU do you recommend?

I'm considering upgrading my GPU, but I'm not sure which GPU I should get. I plan on gaming obviously, and I would prefer to be able to run most newer games. I considered building a new computer entirely, but I don't think that it's completely worth it or necessary.

CPU: AMD A8-6500 3.5GHz
GPU: NVIDIA GEFORCE GT 610
Memory: 16GB DDR3 (1600MHz)
Storage: 2TB Hard Drive
OS: Windows 10 (Build 10130) x64

The gt610 in your PC currently is WORSE than the integrated graphics by a decent bit.

What PSU do you have?

For that setup I would max go GTX750Ti or R7 260X which ever is cheaper. The GTX will run on any modern 300+ watt PSU the 260X needs 450watt PSU in the system
