What GPU is compatible to CrossFire with a PowerColor TurboDuo R9 270 OC?

Looking to improve my graphics performance without spending loads, will buying another cheaper one and using both be beneficial? or would I be better of buying a new one?

I wouldn't.. Try n save up and get a gtx 1060 if not get a gtx 1050ti

With the 1060 what Gigabyte would you recommend? 3 or 6?

6 is the best bet!

Agreed. The GTX 1060 3GB is a slightly crippled GTX 1060. Still great performance, but fewer cores, fewer TMUs, and of course half the VRAM.
