Hello, I'm currently rocking a 750ti, I would stay with this simple card but it has one flaw, it's 4k output is limited to 30hz and I want to stream 4k 60hz using geforce now.

I don't want anything second hand, and since I'm using linux I would prefer an AMD card, but nvidia is not a deal breaker. I looked on amazon and the cheapest AMD card I found was an RX 6500 XT for almost £200. I assume it would suit my purpose just fine but I'm wondering if I'm overspending. I also see a Palit GeForce GTX 1050 Ti StormX for £150.

One other requirement is I need both a HDMI and DP output.

Please help me choose, I'm at a loss.

Thanks

The RX 6500 Xt one is about 80 percent better than the other. Go with the RX 6500 XT. Is is also much newer, the RX 6500 XT is 2022 while the other is 2016.

But if you don't like over spending, go with the Nvidia one. As it is 70 percent better than your current GPU and you will get the performance you need.

So let's rewind a bit. The RX 6500 XT is 210% faster and better than your current 750ti. And the GTX 1050 Ti is about 60 to 70% better and faster thank your current one.
And, so if you just want 4k 60hz then the GTX 1050 Ti StormX for £150 is worth it. But if you want more speed in the future and a newer GPU the AMD RX 6500 XT one is worth spending a bit more on.

Hope this helped!
