What GPU should I get?

That might be a tall order. Need more info:

What resolution are you playing in?
What is your current GPU?
What is your CPU?
Power supply details.

Other system details welcome.

I have a 720p monitor and I'll be running games in 1080p also I'll have a 700W PSU and an i5 4670K (4670K is already purchased cannot be changed). Also I don't have a PC yet, Building it for christmas I am also getting an MSI Z87-G43 Crossfire ready if that helps.

There's a glaring problem here:

As far as I'm aware, you can't record gameplay in a resolution you can't even use to game with.

If you want to record in 720p there are graphics cards avaliable within your budget but I cannot recommend any without first advising you that you need a new monitor if you want to do full HD. 😉
