What GPU should I get?

CPU: Intel Pentium G3240
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GT 640
RAM: 8gb
Power Supply: 500w

I know its an old system that somehow still can play todays games at lower settings but Its definitely lagging behind and I wish to fix that. My max price would be $120 thanks

Your best bet would be the GTX 1050, The 1050 outperforms the 460 roughly a quarter more with somewhat similar price.

The 460 or 1050, depending on how tight your budget is. Either one of them is much faster than that 640.
