[SOLVED] What GPU should I get??..

Hello everybody,
I play games at 1900x1080p (limited by my monitor), and want to upgrade mi PC. I am currently playing Post Scriptum, and see that mi GPU is at 100% while mi CPU is around 70-80% load.

I really wanted to know if I should get a Gtx 1660 Super in order to play with everything on HIGH, or maybe get another Gtx 970 and take advantage of the SLI.

I have the following rig:
-Gigabyte LGA1151 Intel H170 Micro ATX DDR4 Motherboard (GA-H170M-D3H)
-Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 2133MHz (PC4-17000) C13 Memory Kit - Black
-Intel Core I5-6600 FC-LGA14C 3.30 Ghz 6 M Processor Cache 4 LGA 1151
-ASUS STRIX GeForce GTX 970 Overclocked 4 GB DDR5 256-bit DisplayPort HDMI 2.0 DVI-I Graphics Card
-EVGA 650 GQ 80+ GOLD, 650W ECO Mode Semi Modular NVIDIA SLI and Crossfire Ready 5 Year Warranty 210-GQ-0650-V1

SLI isn't supported really anymore, its pretty rare to find a game nowadays that'll fully support both GPUs, so your better off geting a 1660 Super/Ti/2070/5600XT.

Your motherboard only supports Crossfire (AMD), not SLI (Nvidia).

Anyways as stated SLI supports (& Crossfire) is really poor nowadays and isn't worth it, just get the better GPU.

Okay, so maybe I'll just wait to the Gtx 3000 series be released and wait for the price to drop.

if you're coming from 970 at minimum go for RTX2060 level of performance. if you want to wait for nvidia next series that's up to you. but remember the first batch of launch will be x80 and x70 series of the card. next gen x60 probably won't be here one quarter after that. and much lower tier will be much much later than that. (maybe early next year)

Yeah, I would wait for the next series, but only for the price drop of current gpu's.

historically it is very rare for nvidia GPU to drop in price when new generation of GPU was about to coming out. maybe some deal here and there but usually no real price cut.
