So guys, I am currently in the process of upgrading my PC for DDR4 memory. I am now to the graphic card. I am running g 760s sli currently, but I am thinking about upgrading to a Fury X or 980 ti. I am scared of taking the Fury route because of all the exclusive Nvidia game works content. I also heard AMD drivers are not that good. Which one would serve me better in my DDR4 setup? I am gaming in 1080p currently but may upgtade to 4k. I am just doing a high end GPU to male it future proof. Thanks guys.

Nope, completely separate. Regardless of which brand you decide to go with, I strongly suggest you decide if you want to stay at 1080 or go to 4k before deciding on a card, as that will make a major difference in what you are better off getting.
In the past AMD had driver issues, but not anymore. Drivers are of equal quality these days. As for the nVidia game works, that is for you to decide if they are of value to you.

As for the FuryX vs 980ti, there is no information yet to base a recommendation, but I would think we should have some benchmarks very soon.

DDR4 has nothing whatsoever to do with your graphics card, so, pretty much any card you want really.

The gpu RAM and system RAM are separate. HBM is just the type of VRAM.
Also, about the driver thing. Unlike Martell1977 said, AMD still has driver issues.
Though the Omega driver is better than their old drivers have been, it's still having bunch of issues with games.

NVidia updates their drivers whenever a new big title comes out.
And otherwise when there is something to fix.
