What GPU to buy to SLI with XFX GeForce 8800 GTS 640MB?

I have this GPU on a NVIDIA nForce 680i SLI Motherboard. The pc is my brother's now and he is looking to buy a GPU that has HDMI but can also SLI with the current 8800 we own. That's about it. Link would be helpful and appreciated, thanks.

You better of with a newer GPU. SLI on an old car is totally not worth at all.

The answer to the question is another 8800 640mb (same model, brand isn't important), but it'll likely cost you more than just buying a newer, more power GPU. Seriously, do not SLI such an old GPU.

I see. So now I will ask, what GPU would be compatible for this motherboard that has HDMI? Like for example can he buy a Nvidia 750 TI and have no problems? Not including SLI no more.

It has a PCIE slot so you should be able to put any card in it but it will likely get held back by the CPU.

What case you have. A 750Ti seems to be a good cheap choice
