what gpu to buy?

Hi guys, currently running

intel i5 2500 3.3ghz quad core (should have bought the k !!)
Asus maximus iv gene-z/gen 3 rog motherboard
corsair vengeance 8gb 1600mhz (2x4gb)
60gb ssd
360gb hdd
500gb hdd
ocz modxtreme 600w 80+ bronze psu (might up grade to corsair hx850w)
xfx radeon hd 5770
windows 7 ultimate (64bit)

i want to upgrade my graphics card and psu so i can run bf3 and crysis 3 on ultra, thought u guys kno alot more about this than i do so any advice will be appreciated. My budget is about £200 - 250 for gpu and psu roughly, would stretch to 300 but would prefer to keep cost down

I'd recommend getting the Asus AMD Radeon HD 7950 DirectCU II http://amzn.to/1gi7t5u which is a great GPU that can run both of those games on ultra settings (not including MSAA) with good FPS and also in your budget. I've had a 7950 and it runs great in those games.

You're in luck, overclockers.co.uk has a sale with a Radeon HD 7970 going for £227.99 inc VAT. From what I've seen, that is an absolute BARGAIN and the best you're going to get in that price range:

Will the 7950 work ok with my currwnt psu or will I run into any problems?
