I would like to come back to PC gaming and therefore need to buy a GPU. I will play my games on my 3440x1440 Asus PG348Q 100Hz monitor with G-sync.
I do appreciate the efforts that developers put into beautiful graphics and would like to fully experience this beauty (for example in games like Witcher 3).
My aim is to have at least 60 fps in single player games like Witcher 3 or GTA V and at least 100 fps in more competitive games like Apex Legends on competitive graphics (probably medium/low).
I am considering the RTX 2070 (580$ in Poland) or RTX 2080 (900$ in Poland) because I heard that they are a good choice in 2019.
I do fear that my current CPU will bottleneck this cards. It is the i7-3770K overclocked to 4.5 Ghz. Will it be enough or should I consider upgrading it?
I do run my system on the MSI Z77 MPower Motherboard, 12 GB of Corsair DDR 3 RAM and a Samsung 850 EVO SSD.
