Well any graphics card will work obivously but the best pair for your cpu would be a 1060 6gb or a much newer and faster 1660/Ti/Super

All dependant on the resolution and graphics options you play with.
1080p - 1060, 1660 or similar, ex. 980
1440p - 1080, Vega 56 or 64, RX 5600 XT.
(in 1440p you might very well be seeing a bottleneck thats caused by your cpu in some titles.)

If you're playing on or are planning to play on 4K you'd have to upgrade your CPU aswell, in which case the 2080, 2080S or the 2080Ti will pretty much be your only choices for maxed out smooth experience in modern AAA- titles. (+60fps)
