Hey guys, I bought a pc without graphic card and was wondering which graphic card will be best suited for me. I'm a hardcore gamer I play +8h/day most of it is league of legends usually, but I also want to do some gameplay videos to upload to youtube or for my twitch channel. Mostly new games like GTA V and battlefield 4... So guys help me chose the best graphic card for recording gameplays at high settings (medium is OK) with 60fps will be great on my 1080p monitor.
My pc config:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4770 CPU @ 3.40GHz
Motherboard B85M-P33 V3
PSU: Zalman ZM-700TX 700w 80+ bronze
8gb RAM

That's only 24% cheaper. Not good enough in my book. Keep in mind most 970s have an OC ceiling of 1,500mhz while the 1060 can reach 2,000mhz. Then there's the vram issue. The 1060 has 2gb (2.5 depending who you ask) advantage.

24% is not good enough for me.

You might want to consider the 3gb 1060. It only shows its weakness against the 6gb at 1440p. Even then, it's only about 5 frames behind.
If you wanna play lol at 60 fps you really don't need much, but then you just did 1000m jump saying that you'd play games like GTA V so you need a nice card for it, or even more demading games.
I'd suggest a GTX 970 or beyond, RX 480 , GTX 1060 will suffice. If you ever wanna play in 1440 go for the GTX 1070, if you have money left, 1080, but both will be such an overkill for just a 60Hz monitor.

GPU questions is best answered when you state your budget.

If your budget is $250 and less, then it's really between the 480 vs 1060.
If your budget is $500 or less, Nvidia 1070 is it.
Over $500... AMD forfeited at the moment.

You made no mention of your PSU. If you don't have a quality one then a 1060 might be OK. For a 480 or a 1070 I wouldn't trust a POS PSU.

If you have extra cash, get an SSD. Nothing beats a cold boot up to Windows desktop in 10 seconds.

but is the GTX 970 enough for recording? I want to play and record with 60fps

I can't say my budget because prices in my country are different from yours, for ex 1060 here is about 400$ and the 1070 is about 700$. But the gtx 1060 is my max budget can afford.

For lol, it is. But as i said, if you wanna play more demanding games, you'll need a stronger/newer one.
The GTX 1060 and beyond supports ShadowPlay, it's a NVIDIA's streaming software made for its GPU, it don't affect much the gameplay fps, with that CPU you are ready to go!

The best option IMO is the 1060 for just 60hz 1080p.

GTX 970 in my country is about 320$ and 1060 is 420$ is the 970 worth picking? I was thinking about taking the 1060

How much are GTX 980s selling in your country? The 1060 is slightly faster than the 980. If you can get a 980 for 10-20% less than a 1060 then that's a good deal. Also, a 970 can come super close to 980 performance when over clocked. If you can get a 970 for no more than 25% less than the cost of a 1060 then that's a good deal too.

Lastly, a 3gb 1060 may be a good option for you. You don't really see the vram deficit until you hit 1440p resolutions.

IMO, no. The GTX 970 is an older technology. If you can, i'd recommend investing this $100 in the 1060, it will be very worth. As it is faster than the 970 and compete strongly with the 980 for half it's price ( sometimes )
