what graphics card can i put in my alienware x51

Whats the best graphics card i can put in my alienware x51 r2 without having to change any other component. specs are bellow

I think you could put a mini 970 in there but make sure you have a high enough power supply wattage.

Thats why I said the 970 mini version power but still in a small size.

Yes you would need to change the PSU but the problem is some of the connections are not standard so it might be hard but the 970 mini would be great for because of size restrictions you would be able to run most games maxed out.

the better way to do it is to upgrade the SPU to 330W , then ,you can use 960GPU，rans very well and never have any problem

custom power supply, best you can drop in is a gtx 960.

the moral of the story is, never buy pre-built. Make your own!

The alienware is a decent bit of kit, bit overpriced but it is a nice sleak design and it preforms good enough. Although I would recommend in future to build your own as you can have everything to your specifications or a prebuilt one if you are not confident enough with it. This is because you can upgrade it in future without have to buy an entire new system which will save money in the long run as well. I would recommend a 960, it runs better than the 760 and can play games better and more efficiently as the 900 series is the same as the 700 apart from with the 900 you get better efficiency for power consumption and lower heat output, which is very ideal for an alienware where the environment is small.

Yeah I know, my mistake. Because I was going off what alienware's website. My friend wanted to be buy one a while back and I remember the only two options being that, but yeah the 960 is the better choice.
