What graphics card do I need?

Hello, I am new here, and signed up just to ask about this. Lately, I just haven't been satisfied with my PC's performance on games. I couldn't see why, either. I have an i5 processer with 3.2 ghz, which is fine, plus 12gb of ram, on a Windows 10 os. I'v wondered what was missing, and so I checked out systemrequirmentslab, and as I thought, most everything on the list was on a higher tier, except for one thing, the graphics card. I guess I should have realized, after all, integrated graphics have always fell short. I came across this video after a short search, and I'm wondering if it would do the trick for me.

So, how about it? Thanks for the support!

I already know that I am upgrading to a new power supply (mine is 300 watts at the moment) and it will be 500 watts. It's by Evga if that means anything. If you want a direct link, then I can give it to you. Also, I just looked at the GTX 1050. It looks like it gives the same performance as that card, so I think I might get that one. I will still upgrade my power supply in case I want to upgrade to a different card later. Thanks everyone for the help.
That guy's channel is pretty good. Just so you know the 270X is basically the HD 7870, so feel free to get either for the same result. It will be a massive improvement over integrated graphics.

However, those cards use lots of power. You don't mention your power supply. You could get the same performance more or less with something like a GTX 1050, and it uses less power.

This all depends on your budget and the games you play of course.

before you can do anything we need to know your power supply make and model
