I have two suggestions. Go the cheap but reliable route, RX 580 8G for around ~200 US - ~300 AUD. Or save up another month and get the new RX 5700 for 350 US - 510 AUD. RX 5700 XT for 399 US - 580 AUD.

These choices are based on what I own and just upgraded to. The RX580 has been around and is powerful and runs games at 1080p very well. (I could only play FF XV at normal settings) The RX5700 XT that I just bought costs more but is cheap for the power it puts out. (Was able to do about 2 hours straight of FF XV last night at high settings no problem.) It compares to the Nvidia 2070.

The RX5700XT is minimum if your going to run games at 4k. It was built to do 1440p with graphics turned up so it should work ok at 4k with them...

The only other choice for 4k gaming is to go all in and do a Nvidia GTX 2070 Super, or 2080. Both Huge cost.

One other thing. FF XV on PC is very worth it if you have a good graphics card.
