what graphics card is better

I will have a i7 4790k cpu and I don't know what video card to use.

MSI Radeon R9 290X 8GB Video Card or MSI
GTX 970 GAMING 4G

if its in budget mate the gtx 970 - performance is so close its not worth mentioning but the fact is the 970 sips 140-160w full load,runs below 70c & makes hardly any noise.the 290x can pull close to 300w & can get hot as hell.

np mate,with the 970 the extra you pay isnt for any performance gain over the 290x,what its all about is efficiency. you get the same type of performance but the capability of running in a smaller case,smaller psu,with a lot lower temps,it makes the 970 worth the premium in my opinion.
