What graphics card is compatible with my PC?

I have a HP Pavilion HPE h8-1010

Inter Core i5 2390t
8 GB Memory

and the regular graphics card is the AMD Radeon HD 6450.

I don't know what kind of graphics card to upgrade to.

any PCIE card will work, with that CPU, I would recommend a GTX 750ti as that is the most powerful card you can use with out getting a new power supply.

I agree with the gtx 750ti, however some do require an external pcie adapter. If you choose to go that route, make sure to get the proper one.
