So, to this day I have been using my GTX 980 Ti for a little over 3 years now. I got it for a then extremely good deal of only $400. Now, with me playing more and more intense games I am looking for an upgrade. My budget is around $550, looking at both new and used offerings. Currently I have a 1080p panel but I am looking to upgrade to a 1440p 144Hz display soon, so I need my future card to be able to output at that. If it matters, I have a 750 watt PSU. Also, I mean this is me just being picky, but I would like the card to be very subtle, with a primarily black and silver design. I have no requirement for crazy RGB. Thanks in advance for you suggestions!

The GeForce RTX 2070 Super will be the fastest GPU within your budget.

The variant made directly by nVidia is the closest match in appearance to your preferences.

The Zotac RTX 2070 Super is the next closest match.

Thank you so much! The FE is probably the most premium feeling and looking cooler ever. It will perfectly match my Dark Base Pro 900 Silver! Though, is the 1080 Ti a better buy used, or should I order the 2070 Super?

Based on the reviews of Guru3D and PCGamer. Plus a multi-game HWBench breakdown. The two are about equal. With perhaps a minuscule edge for the RTX 2070 Super. While the 1080 Ti can use Ray Tracing. Even a Titan Xp is beat by an RTX 2060 with Ray Tracing on. A 1080 Ti wouldn't stand much chance against a 2070 Super. Add to that the 2070 Super is brand new. I'd take it over a used 1080 Ti.
