What graphics card should I get?

I am looking to get a new graphics card soon and I was wondering what one I should get.

I want one that is good value for money and is no higher than around $500.

I don't know what is compatible with my system or what is currently good on the market at the moment. I appreciate any help I get.

My specs:
CPU: 3.60 gigahertz AMD FX-8150 Eight-Core
Current GPU: AMD Radeon HD7700
Mobo: GIGABYTE GA-970A-D3 AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s

Best single GPU - GTX770
Best dual GPU - GTX 760

Whichever options would allow you to game up to 1440p max settings bar some games such as Crysis 3 that requires AA turn off.

Definitely gtx 770 is best in this time. Get from Msi, EVGA or Gigabyte for best performance, stability and reliability.
